Backstory:

They live in a village with a small group of friends who are almost found family to them. They’ve fought on occasion (one particularly nasty fight leading them to set off along and live in a mobile home by themself for a while), but care deeply for their friends and the village they call home. His friends are very protective of him, to the point where it becomes annoying.
They’re very concerned with the “strange powers” that their world seems to possess- any time anyone dies, they are suddenly brought back to life and appear back at home unscathed with everything they’ve gathered. (keepinventory on smh) His friends and neighbors have been using this power as almost a way of fast travel, dying on their long journeys to arrive home fast and without consequence. However, they remain distrustful of this power, worried that overusing it will cause some negative effect on the world around them that they just haven’t seen yet. He avoids death at all costs, carefully documenting any time he does end up dying and how.
Out of fear they have begun building a secret bunker their friends don’t know about, stockpiling supplies and creating potions in case the magic ever threatens to fight back.

Personality:

They care a lot about the people around them, but are rather anxious and struggle to respond to conflict with others, often opting to avoid it rather than face it (thus why they have a habit of running away and isolating themself.) He gets frustrated when people try to do things for him, priding himself on his self-sufficiency and not wanting to be a burden to those around him. They’re absolutely the kind of guy that would like get injured and not tell anyone until they pass out or something. They like to plan and calculate their next moves carefully, and always like to be prepared for the future. They can also be rather secretive at times, not wanting to get others involved in their projects if there’s a fear something could go wrong. They care deeply for their friends and would do anything they think would protect those they love, even if their friends don’t ask them to.
