With opening day only minutes away, it was exhausting finishing the last warm batch of pastries the breakfast customers would find interest in. With Peyton helping hand-mash the fruit, it was easy for her to top off the treats for the display case. Her ear flicks as the little girl stares up at her with big, pleading eyes at the tray about to go out. It was hard to say no to her, though Aster might have another say about it. Debating what to do to appease the pleading helper, she looks to make sure their boss wasn't hovering nearby before slipping the fruit-filled croissant to the girl. Peyton's ears fly up in excitement as she takes it, ducking down to enjoy the treat. The woman laughs, patting the girl's head with a soft hum, "You're lucky you're cute, little one. If it's coming out of my pay you're giving me one of your flowers. Deal?" Peyton hums in affirmation, much to the satisfaction of the baker. She takes the tray out to the main cafe, Aster offering a wave with a light grin, "Ready?"
