Ushas is one of the most mysterious Baalkithi in all of the region. They walk where others don't and tread the line between life and death with careful precision. Their footsteps are heralded by a fresh crysanthymum breeze and the jangling of the coins that hang off their layered clothing, which are said to never become dirty even though they look to drag along the earth. With a near silent care they listen to the people's stories of grief and help lay their loved ones to rest, giving them something to keep close to their hearts, before moving on where they're needed next. It is said that Usha's heart carries the grief of thousands of minoans, making sure their stories are always heard.

As Ushas lives in the Baalkithi region they often cross ways with the Nomads that share their region. Due to Ushas believe and time spent in their enclaves he has accepted The Locust into her belief system and dresses in a way indicative of their being. Ushas has felt the gaze and embrace of death before in their life, and they hope both Maalaat'in and The Locust guide their steps towards comforting others.
