35 years have passed since his taking, and the Kirunhund still does not know of his family or their whereabouts. It was during a trip to see his grandparents that the fateful incident happened- placing him down for just a minute [concealed within a carry bag] led to a thief assuming the satchel to contain good- only to find out later that the only goods inside was a pup. Rushing to the outskirts of the Veldt with his prize in tow and soon reaching Thirea's Guild, it was only then with all the members crowding about him that he realised he was severely mistaken. A pup about the size of his own paw was nestled amongst a blanket, curiously undisturbed despite the rough journey. A muscular cream Kirunhund, watching from the back of the room, pushed through to see what the ruckus was about and soon caught sight of the tiny arrival, eyes widening in surprise before dismissing the others [bar the thief who stole him].
"We raise him as our own"
No one dared to argue with Thirea as she scooped the bag and its precious contents up and left for her room, the others questioning her decision under breaths but remaining silent about her.
It was a variety of reasons that she kept to her decision; unable to have her own pups, the idea of raising a thief from birth and growing numbers, and the complexity to take him back. No, he was going to stay under her care and she would crush anyone who dared take him from her.
"Lucille- a handsome name for a handsome lad" spotting the engraved locket about his neck, she soon removed it with slight guilt and set it out of sight, briefly opening it to spot his parents tiny portraits. "He doesn't need to know."

"Big Momma wait for me!" the high pitched bark was often heard from Lucille as he skittered after the guild leader about her daily business, a humorous sight to see- a tiny black and white Kirunhund chasing after one more than five times his size. Two years had passed since his arrival, and he had grown to fit easily into the guild, often marvelling over all the shiny items his 'friends' brought back from their 'adventures'. Of course they lied to him about their occupation, and often or not showered him in small gifts, but he was oblivious to all. It wasn't until he was 11 years old that they began to educate him on their ways, much to his confusion and shock, but he was eager to learn to try and help them out, and at age 13 he was given his first test- to ironically steal a bag from a member of public. Of course, this was set up as a test for him, but nevertheless once the deed was done... he felt absolutely awful. Not even halfway out of the scene, he turned around, began to bawl, and apologised to the 'victim', handing the item back and skedaddling back to his home, promising himself that he'd never try to steal again.
