Appearance:
Beatrix is mainly Dragonair but resembles a Houndoom. Horns replace where her wings should be, therefore, she isn't able to fly; which she dreams of. Her eyes are wide and the color of a ruby. She is blind but not TOTALLY blind, as her vision is vastly blurry and she can make out colors.
Personality:
Curious - she doesn't know a lot about the world. Every little thing is likely to fascinate her.
Bea tends to daydream, especially while gazing at the sky. She may drift off during conversations, but despite that, she actually listens more than she does speak.
When a situation around her feels unsafe and out of control, she panics and seeks guidance, usually hesitant to even move.
She easily trusts anyone who can help her out of these situations; Bea has yet to make a mistake in this field.
Background:
She was born in an experimentation lab. Scientists wanted to create new species of pokemon after hearing news of Mewtwo's creation. Their attempts involved egg splicing, adding different DNA into a pokemon egg, but it always led to failure - the pokemon hatching with very little to no difference in appearance. Then, one day, they took a Dragonite's egg and spliced Houndoom DNA into it. The results shocked them once the egg hatched into a black-and-orange Dratini. As days went by, it was apparent that the Dratini, named Beatrix, couldn't see very well - though the scientists didn't find this to be a failure, but as a large step closer due to how she looked. Beatrix only ever knew the lab, and was highly monitored so she wouldn't wander off and get hurt. At one point, she got to meet her mother, but the Dragonite was unaware that Beatrix was her baby. Beatrix was then made to train so the scientists can figure out what type of moves she had inherited. A couple months later, she evolved into what she is now, much to everyone's surprise, leaving them to wonder what her next stage of evolution would look like. This never happened though, as a sudden Tyranitar attack nearly brought the lab to ruins. Fearful and confused, Beatrix escaped.
