Verena was born to strong and lovely parents, a father who taught them multiple fighting styles and a mother who would much rather stay out of harm's way, teaching care and a love for wildlife to them. While they always wanted to be as strong as their father, they soon learned the heavy responsibility placed upon them, to protect the new princess, whether or not it would get them killed. In a last ditch attempt to run away from a fate they saw as unneeded and useless, they took to the open road, not sure if they would ever come back home again. They dream to become the strongest martial artist that the world has ever seen, and will take any challenge in order to do so. One day, they will proudly walk up to their father, show him the scars they have earned, regale him with the tales of their adventures, and make the peace they are dreaming of. But there are many years yet to that day, and until they feel that they are worthy of their parents' forgiveness, they refuse to turn back. Perhaps one day, they will find a reason to hurry home, and pray it not be something horrible.

When it comes to their siblings, Verena is not sure what to think. Where some have taken to the lifestyle of nobility, the rest aren't fully sure, and Verena cannot say they blame them. They especially can say that they agree, considering once they were old enough, they ran from their duties and started off on a journey to hopefully discover just why they were given this daunting responsibility to one day take care of their baby sister and help her ascend to the throne as her shield and protector.
