About

mia-by-hein-on-fp.png?1483602943

Mia is a happy go lucky girl, always enjoys working and running around happily. She gets serious while working but still has her own fun, she listens to commands well and always comes when called. Mia is a strong girl, she can drag heavy objects and although skittish around new people she quickly warms up with some play time. Mia loves treats and is highly motivated by them, though she wont eat treats from strangers she will allow them to give them to her. Her favorite treats are duck and beef flavored treats. Mia enjoys sledding with other dogs, and often can find her training. Mia can sometimes have issues with other dogs, mostly female dogs with attitude.

Real Life History

Adopted at 2 years old in Tennessee from a breed specific rescue, Mia has lived in the lap of luxury ever since. We were warned to keep her away from chickens, her past owners shot at her because she would eat their chickens (no real surprise as Huskies are high prey drive animals) With us she blossomed and bloomed into a grand dog who loved going to the beach whenever we would go and well, she always wanted to go everywhere especially if long walks were involved. Yet she would also be a cuddle buddy on the couch as if she were born to be a couch potato, she was amazingly good with children especially my own son when he was born until she passed away around his 2nd Christmas. Mia became sick and died 12-27-2016 due to many tumors growing in her body, she was very loved and will be missed. Were sad she's no longer with us, but are grateful we could share our 10 years of life together. We got her from a breed specific rescue while we lived in Kentucky while my husband was stationed there before he came home from his deployment, she was around 12 years old when we had to put her to sleep.
