- STORY -
A long ways from home

- Chapter 1 -
Acedemic Ambitions

A young Brow in the city of Throne, struck by curiosity and wonder by the magic and nature all around him. From his childhood to his acedemia years, they always desired to learn. Not just learn, Astrolas longed to partake and create his own powerful spells and wonders. His studies were rather ambitious, causing some professors to be cross when they would inevitably miss a due date; too enthralled by their other studies. A particular professor took a liking to Astrolas, and even assisted in easing his work load. What is the heart of all of Throne, if not the strive for knowlage?

- Chapter 2 -
Abyss Research Reintroduction

Astrolas was still in school when the ban on Abyss research was lifted, and with high praise from his professor; was selected for the Abyss Research Reintroduction program. They were one of a small selection of students, the acedemia's test class. Astrolas was estatic, the abyss has always weirdly intrigued him, but he knew the practice was highly illegal. It motivated them to try and focus on their studies, be less distracted and get immersed in the study. Unfortunately unrestrained research leads to terrible accidents.

- Chapter 3 -
Settle

Astrolas dropped out. Not only is he permanently disabled, his pride in himself was ruined. They left Throne suddenly one day, without even a note on his desk he shamefully ran from the Acedemia. With nowhere to go, they simply walk. Walks through the fields of grass, through the brush in the forests, he travels and explores. They'd never left the acedemia much at all. Eventually, it's time to stop moving. They can't walk forever, he needed to settle down somewhere. Even if it's not...home. A sizable property, natural water points, and most importantly; a roof to cover his head. A portion of the bottom floor would be crafted into a store, shelves adorned with some of the many magical items and trinkets they had collected during their travel. Aside from selling and trading his wares, Astrolas also offered magical services for almost anything. Enchantment, mending, tracking, potions, you name it. It kept him afloat, but it was lonely in the house all day. Their insecurities kept him inside most the time, pouring his time into even more studies to distract the mind.

- Chapter 4 -
And they were roomates

Things feel...better. The tense in his shoulders fell over the years. They opened up to people more, even had people he could call friends. Things had slipped into casual living, though it wasn't mundane. Things would get, strange. A satyr shows up on his doorstep, recognition almost doesn't spark; it's been years. Astrolas met Basil more towards the start of his new business venture. His home hired their services to act as a guide, help him find the wolf's grove. Things didn't quite go as planned, but the brow was nonetheless paid and sent away. Basil was now here and injured, heavily. Astrolas took the satyr into his care, and what started as in house care, turned to new living arrangments. Just before the ease could finally set in, Basil flees. The last image in Astrolas' mind of them, is the sight of his silhoette in the dark woods that surrounded their home; he had come sprinting out of it. The brow doesn't know in the slightest what had happened out there, but the undeniable vividness of blood gleaming in a spot of moonlight, pure fear and anger blazed in the satyr's eyes. Basil disappeared into the woods again, he never came back home. His belongings would be moved to his room, the attic, collecting dust awaiting for their owner's return.

- Chapter 5 -
Security

The house is lively. An aircorn nestles peacefully into his bed on the window sill, staring off to the outdoors. Astrolas on the otherside of the glass coos and praises his teenage Sol Roc, almost growing too fast for his heart to handle. The townsfolk up the road know him as the sweet shopkeep, always happy to help, endeared his bashfulness. They even had close friends now, people they could rely on. Things are, finally, better.

- Relations -

Zenith
Friend

One night just before closing, an Astrean entered the shop. Astrolas is bad at cleaning up his clutter, and the poor man tripped on his way in. Zenith was freshly injured, his fall would aggravated the wounds. The shopkeep profusely apologized, and tended to his wounds the best they could. What a way to make a friend huh? Astrolas enjoys inviting Zenith over to try out new baking recipes, or just to hang out, sometimes with their little companions for a playdate.

Basil
Strained

While they hit it off well at first meeting, Astrolas never expected to see Basil again. Especially under the circumstances they did. Never filled in on the full story, he's left to try and piece together a larger picture with scraps of information. For the years Basil disappeared, worry never stopped racing in the very back of his mind. When they lived together, while it took a lot of time, the satyr would ease up around Astrolas. Slowly he became more at ease it seemed, whatever he was scared of wasn't bothering him as much. If they had more time, the two would've been more akin to siblings the way they spoke to one another.

Stellure
Mount pet

Astrolas raised Stellure from egg to adulthood, and absolutely adores her. While her prissiness often leaves them exasperated, it's hard to stay mad at an otherwise sweet girl. The brow loves to create new accessories for her to wear, often adorned with jewels, beads, or anything shiny and eye catching - in accordance to her taste.

Jerma
House pet

Astrolas found Jerma in pretty rough shape. He has a large scar running over an eye, and seemed frightened out of its mind. He would be an unexpected new pet, as the little aircorn was glued to his side for a while. He can be rather frightening at times, silently appearing and disappearing with his wide stare. Despite all this, Jerma is rather cuddly, and enjoys receiving pets and snuggles.
