Personality: Mainly apathetic with undertones of grumpiness. He can be incredibly stubborn when he wants to be, but doesn't often see the need to pitch such a fit. He's sarcastic and definitely one for eyerolls and loud sighs. Half of the time he'll make logical choices, the other half he'll just dive in headfirst
Physical Description: Ace has two main forms, one being humanoid while the other is more monstrous. He's able to shift between the two, but often appears as a person peppered with strange traits instead of fully committing to a side. He's larger, but duller colored than his sister
History: Ace and his sister lived average ocean-based lives where they'd steal from and trick people who got too close to the water for most of their lives. It was simple, but it felt like it was what they were supposed to do. One day, they were just catching themselves some lunch, but they apparently did some crashing of a major fish-based plot. Without knowing any better (because these were fish we're talking about), they apparently ate the protagonists and caused great problems in the...fish kingdom or whatever. It was totally inconsequential, but the fish were outraged. They cursed Ace and his sister to be bound together by the ankles with a crystal chain. This totally threw off how they hunted and kind of got old quick... Ace and Tobie were drawn onto land to seek a cure for their strange ailment (without getting harpooned for being sea monsters)
