From the moment he was born, Metztli was seen...different, he didn't cry, and just stayed warm on his mother's embrace. 

The moment he opened his eyes, they were also different...different colored, he had heterochromia, but his mother didn't mind, and in fact, she was glad her son could be different.

Then, it came time were most male cubs grew their manes, and Metztli...he didn't, he didn't grow a mane yet, but he did grow cheek tufts.
