Zoe is a charismatic and charming young woman who's got a strong sense of community, warmth, and sharing with those around her. Long as you try to be a good person- you are a good person in her book, cause we all make mistakes and she gets that. She's understanding and kind and while she's not afraid to say when she isn't happy she doesn't go out of her way to antagonize others and would rather help people around her. 

She has a massive dislike of people who are closeminded or judgemental as she can't imagine being so caught up in what other people are doing that you can't just enjoy people. She does have a natural distrust of outsiders to the area- since most of them have ill intent that she's come across, but despite her mild reservations she's still often more friendly towards them than most of the other locals.

She's energetic and expecially excitable when fishing is involved. She has a good sense of humor and tends to be pretty sarcastic. 

Zoe doesn't really know where she's from. She just turned up in a basket on the bayou, a baby drifting in the swampy water- where she was taken in and adopted by an old man living alone in the swamp who raised her as his own. He owned a small fishing and tackle shop on a dock populated by locals and made a modest living on his houseboat- watching his adopted daughter scramble through the muck and weeds in search of catching the BIGGEST fish.

She became an expert on the local waters and soon a master angler who was never afraid to get her hands dirty. When her older father passed away she inherited his fishing shop- that she was more than thrilled to run in his memory. She's a local staple as the fishing guru of the local swamps and while she mostly releases her catches (After a cool selfie with her biggest ones), she does donate invasive species catches or particurally unusual species to the locals as food or scientific study respectively. 

She loves to work with her hands, so its not uncommon for her to volunteer helping fix up docks and shacks for people and generally helping her community. Despite it not being where she was born - she loves the tight knit locals that she's come to see as her family.
