Anasi, a goth 19 year old girl, is a vampire. Most vampires she knows are strong, athletic, and great hunters. But for poor Anasi, she's weak and sluggish. She can barely make it up a hill alive! When she goes out during the day, she brings her beloved stuffed animal and an umbrella, so that she won't be harmed by the sun. She goes to as many night college classes as she can go to but not all of the classes she needs are during the night time.

Because she is so weak, she's been studying the medical field. Her utmost goal is to become a Phlebotomist, that way she can directly get blood very easily with no worry of having to commit to anyone.

In her world, it is known that vampires, werewolves, and the like exist. But, it's not talked about. It's not a big deal if one is nonchalantly walking about, it's considered a regular thing. Even though Anasi stands out with her dark clothing, and beautifully bright colorful hair, she goes unnoticed because she tends to be so quiet. Besides, she doesn't bother anyone so nobody bothers her. She has a few friends, but they don't know each other's true natures.
