Cynthia is a sweet little girl who enjoys playing music. She is an excellent pianist and violinist. She is the daughter of a prodigious composer.
However, she has a complicated relationship with her mother, due to her mother thinking Cynthia's music abilities are inferior to those of her older siblings and cousins. Cynthia makes a lot of effort to get better, but her mother doesn't think she's good enough.
Her father was the only one who actually appreciated her ability. Cynthia realized that she was excellent when she found out her father enjoyed her efforts. So, she chose not to give up and work evens harder.
Years later, Cynthia and her father traveled to Australia due to her father's job. She didn't like the new place at first until she met a gentleman-looking boy.
