Belladonna’s mutant powers manifest in her skin appearing transparent enough to see bone as well as the blue flames that ignite on her hair . She can trace peoples heat signatures and has limited pyrokensis. She cannot ignite herself but she is fire proof - they also cannot create fire out of nothing. They require all the following ingredients to create fire - though, Belladonna just carries a lighter on her .
Belladonna joined Professor Xavier’s school for mutants when she was around the age of 23 due to being a sort of late bloomer and hiding her powers for quite some time (to the best of her ability, hiding mostly.)
She didn’t stay for long, sticking around for a couple years before being frustrated by the concepts of Professor X and Magneto combined - both of them had different goals but good points, yet never could agree. They left on their own accord.
They are still an ally to the X-Men, and help on occasion - but they aren’t hiding their mutant powers anymore. Participating in extreme acts of protests and forming her very own mutant only biker gang.
She was particularly close with Gambit, Wolverine and Morph, while also having a soft spot for Jean and butting heads with Scott. They have pretty obvious feelings for Rogue, always making it an apparent competition whenever Gambits around - but Belladonna doesn’t feel like she had a real chance with her so it never turns into something more.
