Operator Bisque, like his sister, has much worse vision than average. During tests and examinations, it was found that he is almost blind during the daytime. Confirmations that his blindness is not caused by Oripathy or any other disease were made, and it seems that current technology cannot correct his vision. However, it seems that he can see almost perfectly fine in dark areas, especially at night. Due to this, he’s often awake during the night hours. According to him, he also wears his sunglasses during the daytime to help dim the light that reaches his eyes, as too much can hurt..

He’s quite scary when it comes to detecting any movement around him, like he has some sort of sixth sense, especially in low and dim lighting. Because he seems to be able to “see” if people are moving around him, he is quite good at avoiding bumping into people. According to him, it’s been this way his entire life.

Unlike his sister, Bisque is quite the night owl, his day usually starting around the time that his sister’s ends. While this is some part due to his lack of vision during the day, Bisque seems to be naturally nocturnal, seeming sluggish and tired during any hours that the sun is out.

He seems to be trying to correct this, however, due to the fact that both his sister Akafuyu and “close friend” Chongyue’s schedules do not line up with his in the slightest. His efforts have gotten him to a point where he will stay up to participate in Chongyue’s morning practice at dawn and immediately head to sleep afterwards. His typical day consists of waking at dusk, eating a meal, spending time with others, then attending to his individual duties and training for the remainder of the night before Chongyue awakens at dawn, when the two share a meal before Bisque heads to bed. Speaking of meals, his codename was chosen shortly after he arrived on Rhodes Island, having eaten what he describes as ‘the most delicious soup’ he’s ever had, a lobster bisque made in the Rhodes Island kitchen.

Bisque is not one to use his family’s position to get what he wants. In fact, he is not a fan of revealing what high standing his family holds in Higashi, preferring to just say that he is simply Akafuyu’s sibling.

While he was also trained in swordsmanship and various other martial arts, he prefers to fight with his bare fists, which pack quite a punch - Bisque’s grip strength is much stronger than the average persons. Even Mountain is surprised by how such a small man could crush almost anything in his grip. It is due to this fact that he and Chongyue often train together, both of them using their own unique form of martial arts with their fists.

As revealing Bisque’s surname would reveal Akafuyu’s, it will remain redacted in this record.

It seems that Bisque, and by extension, Akafuyu, are much older than they physically seem. His exact age is not unknown, but when asked, he simply states that he’s been around a long time. He has no records of his birth, saying that it’s been so long since they were made that they simply crumbled to dust.

On a tangent, did you know that lobsters are in the gray area of being biologically immortal? They do not die of old age, and instead have an enzyme called telomerase which replaces their cells and will do so as long as they live. The reason that they are not considered immortal is that they will eventually die when they grow too large, the amount of energy they have is not enough to grow a larger shell to molt, causing them to either die of exhaustion, disease, or shell collapse... I wonder, what would happen if there were a lobster that didn’t need to grow larger? Would they truly be biologically immortal..?

Anyways, it’s no secret that he and Chongyue have a close relationship. Some among the landship claim that they’re more than friends. Perhaps it’s because they’re quite similar in long lifespan… -- Fishpaper
