Gurgi is a punk in the truest sense, from music, to fashion, to the most important bit, politics. She fully believes that the current government in the world is failing the people in every way possible, while only serving themselves. She is a firm believer that the system isn’t broken, it’s working exactly as intended. To serve the “elite” and the 1%. So naturally she also believes that the only way to “fix” it is to tear it down, and build something new in its place that actually serves the people. Gurgi considers herself an anarcho-communist.

She owns and operates a rescue organisation, and the only time you will ever see her being soft is for those animals. There isn’t a purer soul than that of an animal, both in their ability to trust, and complete lack of ulterior motives. Not to mention their ability to love and forgive even after being severely abused. Their purity gives her hope for the future. Gurgi’s friends take shifts volunteering at her shelter, and they all find it both fulfilling, and an incredible bonding experience. In fact, sometimes Gurgi has more hands than she knows what to do with at her shelter. It has had the result of the shelter being one of the cleanest and most respected in her city, if not province.

Outside of work, Gurgi loves to attend her friends Vik and Bowie’s punk shows and can almost always be found in the mosh pit with her friend Hertz.

Gurgi is both asexual and aromantic, having zero interest in any sort of relationship in the traditional sense. She cares fiercely for her friends, and considers them her family. Not much pisses her off more than people assuming she is lacking something crucial in her life for not having a romantic or sexual relationship, or reducing her deep friendships for the shallow ones typical of your average person. Her friends are so much more than that to her, and she makes sure they know it all the time.

She drives a 2010’ Triumph Scrambler that she completely restored with her own hands, over the course of many years scrounging and collecting parts from scrap yards as she refused to buy one, of course not believing in giving her money to a large corporation. Her friend Bowie naturally allowed her to keep the project in the fenced yard behind his garage and gave her full access to all his tools and connections to make it happen. Though she refused his hands being on the bike as it was a point of pride for her to do all the work herself, she isn’t so arrogant as to ignore his advice or insights. She even did the new paint job herself, utilising the large spray booth at Bowie’s restoration shop.
