Aurum has loved shiny things since the day he hatched, and will go to great lengths to collect anything that piques his interest. He especially enjoys gold items, even if they aren't made of actual gold. If it looks close enough to the shiny metal, he will take it! Sometimes he likes to nibble on jewelry, but he will never actually eat it. He more enjoys the feeling of the metal on his teeth and tongue.
As an adult, Aurum collects and sells jewelry in a small shop. He has a blossoming interest in alchemy and trying to figure out how to produce gold from other lesser materials. So far he has no luck with creating gold, but he won't stop trying! Aurum is very determined to find a way to produce his own gold jewelry so he doesn't have to buy or "borrow" the materials from other Darkners. Now if only he could produce gemstones as well...

His plume of golden feathers gets him a lot of attention, and he relishes in it!
He loves to gather up jewelry to trade and show off! He's got a keen eye to find jewelry, and will set it in a box with his other shiny goodies. If anyone tries to take them, it's when Gold Standard WILL turn aggressive and attack! He uses his tiny claws and fangs to protect what is his!
