Fable ♥ Elnin

Fable is an elnin who is prone to reinventing herself.  It isn't that she is unhappy with who she is, but at times she gets bored with who she is.  She does like to brag that she has "lived a thousand lives," though the number may be an exaggeration of the actual number of times she has adjusted who she is.  In time, Fable may change her name, her assumed gender, or her occupation simply to keep her life more interesting.

At one point in her life she had gone by the name of Rayna Cassius after inheriting a small merchant business.  She managed to swiftly build it into a booming merchant empire (which she discreetly still passively receives an income from).  During these times she would have been described as imposing and stand-offish, seeming witty and arrogant to most.  She did as she desired with little care for what others thought, and did spend much time trying to find a worthy heir to this business empire.

However, times changed, and soon enough she found herself as an artist by the name of Zephyr.  She would travel the world of Eyre in search of the perfect inspiration for her art pieces.  During this time, many would have called her moody, mostly since inspiration was fleeting.  She did not seek fame during this phase of her life, but mostly sought out fulfillment in creating the best art pieces she was capable of.

After draining all of her artistic creativity, she decided she would become Zaji, a male traveling exotic chef.  He would prepare the most savory and delicious foods he could, but had a tendency to remain cold and distanced with others.  He did have a sense of pride in his appearance, but he would never stick around in a relationship, moving on quite quickly if anything did develop.  During this time he was very dedicated to his craft, focusing heavily and seemingly becoming a very serious Elnin.  Where as he previously sought out fulfillment with the arts, he never seemed to seek out fulfillment with crafting delicious food, since perhaps he already felt he achieved what he was capable of.

In the present, she has shed all of these previous lives to become Fable, a traveling Spice Merchant.  She seems to have shed the overly serious aspects of her previous personas, warming up how she interacts with others.  She is more prone to smiling these days and even making jokes.  She still has a level of commitment issues with others, but she does not read as nearly as intimidating these days.  Just do not be surprised if her shrewd businesswoman side from her former life comes out, after all, she needs to turn a profit!  These days she prioritizes just experiencing life for what it is, rather than seek fame, fortune, or fulfillment.  To a degree, Fable enjoys watching society around her, seeing the day-to-day rather than the extraordinary.

...but who knows?  That is just who this elnin is today, tomorrow may just bring in a whole new persona!
