Lavenderfur

Lavenderfur is Oceancall’s sister. She was always the more curious of the two, often getting into trouble and wandering off as a kit. Since she was old enough to go to the flower field, Lavenderfur held a keen obsession with flowers of all kinds, particularly lavenders – those were the first flowers she had ever seen, after her mother decorated her fur with one and she was therefore named after it.

Lavenderfur’s favourite and most treasured memory is of her first time going to the flower field with her mentor when she was a newly made apprentice. She was fascinated by the vast spectrum of colour and sweet smell in the air, and after that she went to the flower field nearly every day, and even showed Oceancall, who too was struck by the beauty, but not quite as much as she was. One day, however, roughly two moons after her first visit, a RookClan patrol claimed that Lavenderfur had wandered too close to the border – a very unstable border that was constantly changing and the two Clans were constantly fighting over – between RookClan’s side of the flower field and FrostClan’s side. The patrol then attacked the innocent and unknowing apprentice, leaving her with a large scar on her leg and causing a big feud between the Clans that went on for several moons after.
