Mari is 23 year old Red Fox who is known among Distant Bay citizens "The Protector of Distant Bay", she been saving lots of situations that Mr. Dark caused - her biggest rival. All though she mostly protecting the town from Mr Dark, she also works at beautiful small coffee shop "Rose Cafe" where she also works with Michael - her future boyfriend and husband.

- She been in karate since 5 for 15 years.
- The reason she wears her bandages is because of the incident between her mom and Mari.
- Despite everybody asking her why she use Scythe instead of anything else, she doesn't answer why but all tied to the fact Jason gave her an tech Scythe (which may or not be made by G.T.O).
- The extra blue stripe on her tail is dyed since she was 16

- Bandages around her both arms are not optional!
- Her Scythe is optional,unless for action and such
- Her ears doesn't has extra depth inside fur, it's mostly hide by her hair.
- any other outfits are fine as long as it fits her, but no skirts
- her breasts aren't too big so don't draw her boobs too big nor average
In childhood Mari was pretty lonely, she didn't got along with others because she mostly was crybaby at times, some girls were picking on her for no reason which got her to being bullied and harrased for - being different. She was ashamed of herself but couldn't understood what was it that she so shameful until her mom bring her into karate to teach her more about self-defense, Mari quickly being enjoy and loves to do karate, she tried teach her younger sister Charmeine to fight but Charmeine never got hang of it and never likes to fight.
During Middle school and High School, things very become hard for Mari, which more harrassemnts than previous, she had lot of nicknames from her classmates "Softie" "Crybaby" "Cursed Demon", for years Mari pretend be tough, brave and strong which worked but slowly it begin Mari into depression and aniexty, until she met Adam one day at physics class which she always wonder how she never seen him before until Adam told her i recently trasnferred, they both instantly become best buddies they could ask for.
After High School, they didn't really had plans for college as Adam went full time working as a Repair men, while Mari work with Adam as an Assistant since they both wouldn't been able to go to college any time soon, until one day Adam told Mari the news of he getting another sided-job of mechanics with scientist by the name "Jason Miller", She was happy about it until Adam added that he can bring her with him on it, that confused Mari, she asked if Jason told him what she would do for Jason, and Adam shrugged at that. She didn't knew what else to say until one day chaos happened with Mr Dark trying destroy the city and Mari with her karate skills defend Mr Dark and Distant bya citizens annouced her as "The Protecter of Distant Bay".
They met each other when we both applied to Rose Cafe job, they might not talked a lot while during it but when Mari got once to fought with Mr Dark, that's what Mari found weird at first when suddenly Mike talked with her more, eventually, she caught feeling for him, "first" time she ever felt so nervous around one person, one of during fight with Mr Dark's greatest assistant - Robbie when she found out that Mike tries to help her with the fight, she never ever been so worried about one person besides Adam. Mike and Mari had bit of arugement about it, which led to Mike eventually after hours of arugement opening up to her that he had feelings for her ever since he made small talk with her, and especially during he decided talk with her more, which made Mari little shocked that fact but also opened up about her having similar feelings for him, and they began slowly dating ever since.
Despite they not talking much because Mari is always very busy with job and "other job", they still handle the bond between them, even after their parents divorced and once incident where Mari accidentally hurted Charmeine for unknown reasons which they only know and never tells it anymore, Mari still very loves her sister all the way.
Mari and Adam are best buds that they could asked for, they always hanged out, and still are with few complicaitons, all though, ever since Adam met Jason, Adam telling his previous feelings for Jason and after he got arugement with Jason, Mari becoming bit suspicious on Adam and Jason even more than before which she never could have guessed what Jason has planned for.
