Fearghas grew up at his father's pawside, and from the moment he was born- his paws were on the deck of a ship. His father was a fisherman who specialized in the local sea, and never had a lust to wander. He was content living a humble life of salt and shore. Fearghas was more adventurous. He wanted to sail the high seas and as soon as he was old enough to repair his own beat-up wooden boat that's exactly what he did. He earned a reputation as a well known and knowledgeable sailor of his country's naval fleet and became an admiral, sailing massive warships into uncharted waters in the midst of the Ereokyo war.
He kept this up until his ship was blasted into pieces, and he ended up washed on an unknown shore... taken in and cared for by humble farmers. Despite his desire to get back to the sea- coming by boats in this place was by no means easy, they weren't sea-faring folk and it wasn't so easily as hopping aboard a vessel and leaving....especially once he started to get attached to one of them.
- Absolutely mortified by spiders and bugs. Daddy long legs especially. Can they hurt him? Physically- no. But the emotional distress is enough
- Has a thick Scottish accent that gets exponentially worse when he's angry or upset to the point of being intelligible
- He's an expert on ships and knows a lot about running them, there's no job on a boat he can't do given the proper motivation.
- He does however, lack many "Land" skills in return.
