Basic Info:

Any pronouns, mostly feminine human form

General trashed punk / grunge / "visual kei reject" vibes. They clean up some into streetwear after being taken in, even wearing a suit on occasion (human form)

Personality? Generally sour and rebellious. Confident and smug. They'll act how they want to get what they want, but still generally more emotional that appears. He'll do anything for his family, despite their ultimate goals of having a rival. Losing others is a necessary risk in her eyes, but it hurts every time.

Unnamed hybrid humanoid species - Sowesi combines Soweli and Akesi from toki pona, as they're a mix of "general big cat" and crocodile. With some porcupine thrown in for flavor.

Very tall, about 8 ft - the bottom of their shoulder armor is about where an average human would come up to.

Design Notes:

Their back has additional hair-quills like a porcupine, with a visible zipper line sticking out of the bottom, just above the waist. They have an alternate powered-up form with a tattered skirt-like piece of varying length (to cover wear the tail attaches), and a loose tail (wrapped around the waist, covering the zipper area).

The white circles around their eyes and shoulder armor are rivets, and on their arm-collars it's small spikes. Her claws can retract by moving further up the gauntlet. His chest fur is faux fur, and the insides of his ears is mesh. Around her shoulders are rib-like things, with chains connecting them of no set length. The head, sans visor, is fuzzy with the solid build of a fursuit, while their scales are hard and rubbery. The feet and gold chest portions is also furry.

Due to experimental animatronics inside the suit's head, adding to both the shape of the muzzle and rising costs, the mouth has a good degree of movement beyond the ups and downs of older suit heads. The inside is a dark rubbery maroon. Expression through body language should nevertheless be prioritized.

Colors aren't completely set - they can be made shades lighter and/or darker as needed.

Background:

There's a looooot of backstory, but essentially, they're a part of a kaijin species created as a prototype design for a 90's tokusatsu series. But between budget cuts, complexities of the suit, and marketing issues, their series was cancelled before it began, leaving them without a hero to fight. Being unaware of that, their innate urge to be someone's rival came out strong, and so did their terror over humanity. Well, every Winter-Spring or so they'd take out a dozen civilians to see if their fated rival would appear. He never did. Usually it was some Sentai group who already had a full team and/or established enemy. The Metal Heroes were common. Or Changerion or smth. Over time, their numbers were thinned down, until only a handful, including Sowesi, remained.

I guess this is some weird universe where every toku is both 'canon' to each other yet has no direct impact on one another. Each hero has a sort of Prime Directive they follow, barring crossovers, which was basically made 'canon' in the Drive Saga: Chaser movie. This whole thing is just a sandbox of meta for me to play in as I please. I love self-indulgence and crossovers on my own whims :)

Sowesi: "Hey, there's a Rider, Kuuga, but he's already busy, between his day job and the Gurongi."

Kiawenla: "So? Let's just add a third thing into the mix. Get it done faster."

Sowesi: "Don't you see? Either he collapses on the job or the Gurongi kill him off first. The first is sad, and the second is no fun for us: we lose a rival, and no one's around to stop the Gurongi from getting to all the humans first..."

This is... such a convoluted backstory. I just wanted a good reason to have a Creature as my s/i for selfshipping reasons lmao, had to make it complex huh

But what's under the zipper???
