A glass rose, transparent as it may seem, holds many secrets and much strength. Its beauty is unmatched, impossible to tear your eyes from, but those who give in to temptation of touch will certainly be met with unwelcome repercussions.

Nemesispaw possesses a solitary soul since birth, finding most comfort in herself and herself alone. From a young age, she’s set to develop a strong sense of individualism and independence, fully capable of resolving her own matters without reliance upon another. Nemesispaw is incredibly self-sufficient, and the little she-cat takes pride in this. Her pride is strongest when she can attribute accomplishments fully to herself, and as a result her capability rarely falters or comes into the question of her clanmates.

The clockwork of Nemesispaw’s mind is centered around logic and examination. She approaches every matter with an intellectual and observational view, an eye trained to see past irrational factors, looking only at objective truths. As a prism refracts light into all its colors, raw and unconcealed, critically and carefully does the daughter of leaders reason. The scales of justice are ever-present within her, always weighing, tilting, shifting with each new piece of information. Nemesispaw has an eternal hunger for knowledge and actively enjoys her pursuit of justice served alongside analysis.

Nemesispaw’s heritage holds great importance and value to her. Directly related to not only the current leader, but also Fatestar and Zodiac’s Legacy, it should come as no surprise where her loyalties lie and just how resolute they are. When Nemesispaw promises his fidelity, it is an oath not to be taken lightly. Though her devotion may not be easily earned, once it manifests it comes with a vigorous fervor. Since birth, her faith has always rested with her family and with AdderClan, and there is little to be done that can shake such a devotion.

Now, though the glass is pristine and dazzling beneath the sun, every edge of it still holds the potential to cut a precise wound in paws that dare touch it. Nemesispaw has intentions that are never fully certain, veiled consistently by vague statements and subtle actions. She values privacy and caution in all that she does, and though it protects her from conflict often, it’s worth noting her secretive habits tend to distance her from others. Being the solitary creature she is, Nemesispaw doesn’t particularly mind this, but on opposite sides her closed-off behavior may sow seeds of frustration.

It’s no secret that Nemesispaw keeps to herself. With her intentions, positions, and even routines, it’s not uncommon at all to find her isolated both physically and mentally. She’s undeniably taciturn, with mild exceptions made only for family and those she’s deemed to be trustworthy after moons of tentativeness. Nemesispaw is a cat who’s incredibly difficult to truly connect with, due both to the complexity of her mind and her utter unwillingness to readily make connections. She hardly sees anyone but those she wishes to, and though her behavior maintains a protective air of mystery about her, the world she walks through is a cold and barren one.

Careful what you say, little one, careful where you walk, lest the gates to safety close suddenly behind you. Nemesispaw is all too aware of the power one misplaced step or wrong sentence could have, all too aware of its capability to utterly topple a cat. She’s greatly cautious, almost excessively so.. Nemesispaw is sickened by the feeling of inferiority. She refuses to ever let down her defenses, unwilling to feel vulnerable even for a moment. It’s an exhausting pursuit, of course - but exhaustion is not so great a cost for the feeling of security.

Ah, but beauty is not meant to last.. so quickly does it fall and shatter, made into hundreds of sharp thorns scattered all across the dirtied ground. It was not a rose after all, but danger luring in its prey with pretty petals. Of course, this is the nature of all beings, as Nemesispaw so deeply believes. Planted in her heart and stretching its winding roots to every corner of her is a distrust, a looming cloud over her head at all times. The world and its inhabitants are inherently evil, their souls marked with ash by cruelty’s finger. Her misanthropic world view is perhaps the central source of her difficulty to find warmth in another, for how can one see a hearth in what their gut screams is hellfire?.

It was not tender trust, but paranoia that were midwife to little Nemesispaw. She’s always been plagued with suspicion and irrational fears, amplified by even the slightest implication they hold truth. Peculiar coincidences to others are deathly omens to Nemesispaw, so easily scared and shaken by the world around her. It takes very little for her worries to spiral out of control and into her taking real action against imaginary threats. The waters on the surface will always be brimming, threatening to spill over - truly, the question is not if they will, but when.

Nemesispaw has a dangerous need to be in control, and can quickly become a threat to herself and those around her when she feels her grasp slipping. Controlling to a fault, she’ll do anything to be on top of the pile and stay there, the puppet strings to those below at her disposal any minute. Superiority is non-negotiable, and anything less than a monopoly is enough to draw a violent, panic-induced reaction from the young Nemesispaw.. it’s almost ironic, the iron hold that complete power has over Nemesispaw’s stability.
