Anyway, this shapeshifter from a friend’s AU that I’ve (not so) secretly been obsessing over…is an astrodynamicist (PRETTY good at plotting courses for space craft to get to places in the shortest amount of time possible) and wannabe biologist..and chemist…and maybe botanist. He wants to do everything.
ANYWAY, this guy’s an Umbra Caelum..but idk what’s up with him he’s just REALLY big. Weirdo. In his so-called “human” disguise, he doesn’t really bother to hide his ears, horns, OR EVEN THE SECOND PAIR OF EYES.

Cal's a wonderful guy honestly. Don’t worry about the tail-mouth thing he’s got going on. He does it purely for funsies. Reminds him of someone he may or may not know…idk yet honestly. He’s used it to eat a street taco once. He’s the reason shapeshifters aren’t allowed in the kitchen…💔
He’s honestly just here to have fun. Cal loves science, Cal loves space, and I HIGHLY doubt he minds the humans. He thinks they’re great. He’s having the time of his life. The guy doesn’t even know he’s probably actively being hunted.
He’s happy and carefree. For the most part. Things appear to either go through one ear and out the other, or completely over his head. If he was cold and calculating, it’d only give humans a reason to fear him. AND WHO WANTS THAT?? He doesn’t have to act smart, Cal knows he’s a genius and that’s what matters.
