Heilyn is a quiet elf who can't quite seem to get himself together despite the best efforts of those around him.
While he yearns to be more confident and open with others, it's often a struggle for him to say what's on his mind. He has a rather gentle disposition and is ready to lend a hand if someone needs it. Moments with him can often turn a bit awkward however as he never seemed to fully figure out how to properly socialize. He sometimes goes quiet and talking to him can be like talking to a brick wall as he response with short answers that don't really enhance the conversation much. Other times he might make an observation that is better left unsaid - not that he realizes this. He tries most days to be better than he is now. Not all days are successful ones, but he's still growing in to himself. He can talk quite a bit about certain subjects like his pets, crystals, tea, and plants. However he usually follows these discussions up by emphasizing that he's no expert and that the other person probably knows more than he does. His level of self-confidence is staggeringly low. It's for this reason that his protector work is lackluster, if he even does any missions at all. He just naturally assumes that there is someone who could do the job far better than he could. Heilyn is honestly a very good healer. He just doesn't think that he is. He loves to help others realize their own potential (even if he can't see his own) and will almost always put someone else's needs before his own.
