Joane Xasriku

Joane is an alchemist and engineer with a big family and a bigger heart. He and his fathers, Jisao and Josi, run a shop with him in the village creating chemical concoctions or mechanic constructions for those who remain. He and his mother, Mae, are exceptionally close, but he has no memories of any of his family past a certain age and he'd really only recently returned to the village; he was kidnapped as a child to become a guinea pig to experimentation before the infection of the land was at it's worst, and Josi was the one to watch over him at the facility before smuggling him out the moment he had the chance to as he often did with those under his care. Joane, though free, had no recollection of his family or a majority of the events within the facility, on his own at age seven to fend for himself within the harsh city capital of demons. Managing his way through life with odd jobs and thievery, he later found a connection to his home village when he turned twenty-two, stumbling across Josi living within the now defunct lab during his travels to find answers for himself. Questioning who he was, where he was from, and who his family was, Josi knew he had to show him his mother's village in the wastelands. The two of them reside there permanently with Joane's birth parents, refusing to leave even as the crimson veins spread thicker around it's edges.
Most come to him for mechanical enhancements despite his specialty being alchemy; he's well known for making false wings to help those who have issues flying or have lost their ability to due to corruption and travelers will brave the Visceral Wastelands to visit him.
