Well, would you look at that? Another prince, heir to the throne and gifted with dazzling beauty. But certainly he is unique and totally different from your typical princely stereotype, yeah? To be honest, probably not. He plays the part of a daft young man, naive and rather irritating, flirtatious and flamboyant. But yet, there is always a hint of slyness or malicion in that charming smrik. Always a glint of intelligence and secrecy behind those shining eyes. Bastion is quite the observant little thing, despite his oblivious front. He catches all the little details, will read you like a book from the faintest cues of body language to the pitch of your voice. Sometimes in conversation he will accidentally bring up a small detail that no one expects him to remember and it will make his companions curious or suspicious. However, he is able to almost always laugh it off and change the subject. Key word on almost. There are a few people within the castle who are aware of his true self. Those who have equally keen and observant eyes. As well as people with sharp intuition who simply feel someting is off when in his presense. Most of the others are empty headed and simply think of the prince as a ignorant child. In fact, because of his position many people in the court try to use or manipulate them, but often he is onto their schemes and takes it as an oppurtunity to play little mind games with them or manipulate them right back. He inherited his wings from his mother much to his parents pleasure. Their marriage was arranged because of their strong lineage of magic that would in the end breed a premium child. Despite his strong magical abilities though, his body is rather frail and easily exhaustable. He doesn't partake in much physical activity which doesn't help his case of health. He is a momma's boy. His mother contantly babied and fretted over him since his birth because of his low immunity and weakness. This relationship between he and his mother is another cover he uses to keep up his immature act. It is also another reason many people in the castle resent him. When he was younger, his mother taught him how to play a magical flute, to which he loves to play and practices every night in the dimming light of dusk.
