Basics
"Are you a good omen, or a bad omen?"
I'd heard this phrase a million times growing up, sometimes it was a joke, meant to poke fun at me or perhaps get me to react aggressively. Sometimes it seemed like people really meant it, like now. But no matter the intent behind the words, I'd always say the same thing.
"Guess you'll have to find out for yourself."

About
Omen is very tall, thin, usually has his hair covering his right eye and probably too many facial piercings. He may seem very quiet and unapproachable at first but he's completely the opposite from what you'd expect. He's always been very popular (especially with girls, he often gets a lot of confessions and sometimes they try asking him out) but he's too polite to ever use his popularity to his advantage. Currently in college, he spends a lot of his time volunteering and keeping up with his classes, but still manages to find a balance between studies and socializing. You can often find him at parties on the weekends, although even then he is still very responsible.
Extras
Studying biology/chemistry/physics and forensic science
Favorite color is black
Favorite animal is snakes, although he loves most if not all reptiles. Knows a lot about them and loves to share that knowledge with anyone interested in listening.
Has a black and white axanthic ball python that he absolutely adores. He's affectionately given him the name "monochrome slut", also shortened to moss.
Weirdly good at dancing. Knows a ton of different types of dances too. People don't really expect it so sometimes it surprises them. His height might has something to do with it... kinda looks like a long wiggly noodle but way cooler. Also SUPER flexible which probably helps his dancing skills. Totally the type to move in ways that shouldn't be possible, just to freak people out for fun.
Relationship
Omen met Mara at school, they both went for the last slice of key lime pie at the same time and ended up sharing it and talking about their lives and interests. They both developed a crush on the other but didn’t do anything about it for a few months because neither one knew they felt the same thing. Eventually, Omen worked up the courage to have a mini key lime pie delivered to her with her favorite flowers while she was studying in the school library, and a note asking her if she wanted to be his girlfriend. He was absolutely overjoyed when she immediately called him just to say yes. Omen likes calling her key lime now, as a cute pet name, to always remember how they met. Sometimes he shortens it to just key. He gets embarrassed easily when calling her that but really loves how she reacts to it, so he does it anyways.
Relationships
Mara [ girlfriend ]
Met at school and have been together for over a year. They compliment each other perfectly. Omen has always admired her positivity and her passion for helping sea life, to the point where he's become a little interested in it himself. He loves helping her with schoolwork.
Shukie [ friend ]
Dorky foxbun with a lot of energy. On a random outing with Mara, when he decided to take Moss for a walk an adventure while on a leash... they ran into Shukie walking her dog. She thought he was pretty weird but their weirdness seemed to mesh well. They became good friends and bonded over their love for their pets.
Leo [ friend ]
Dumb white cat with magical teal markings. Went head to head at a dance competition once. Omen thought he was a bit of a snob at first, with the way he would talk nonstop about his skill and style, but after the competition Leo asked him for tips and they had a nice conversation that ended up changing Omen's opinion of him. Nowadays, they compete together and sometimes go arcade hopping.
Oriah [ friend ]
A small mole with a penchant for mining and reading. Ran into Omen at a bookstore, LITERALLY ran into him, and Omen apologized over and over, even offered to buy Oriah some coffee as an apology. He graciously accepted despite being super embarrased. Luckily for Omen, Oriah knew the bookstore very well since he spent a lot of time there, and was able to help Omen with finding research material for school whenever he needed it.
