Description
Pyria got cursed by an unknown fairy cult member for being in love with Gabriel (an angel) while being part of a criminal family. They cursed her to be full of scales (hard to cuddle) and to spew fire (a safety hazard). However, Gabe is way too loyal and kindhearted to make that stop him from loving Pyria.
Together they have a son - Kramer. Because both of them were too worried that Pyria might accidentally set kitten Kramer on fire they decided to let him stay with friends' children until Pyria got her flames under control. While staying there, one night a group of human teenagers broke into the place and kidnapped Kramer. The two searched everywhere but couldn't find him, since of course human territory seems infinitely large if you're that small. Several years later they found him attending a big festival with his newfound parents Gwyn and Emma and had him come back home.
Pyria could never recover from the prolonged fear and pain of thinking she had lost her beloved son. She still wakes up in a cold sweat every other night, feeling overly guilty and responsible for Kramer having to go through the horror of being treated like a toy for so many years just because she was too weak to control her abilities. All this combined has made her paranoid and overprotective of her family. She's constantly 100% ready to kill a man for her son and husband.
All in all, Pyria is a good person who's just doing her best with the things given to her. Granted that what she was given was a god damn dragon curse, the best she can do is punch people in the fucking face.

Trivia
- A morning person.
- For the right amount she'll accept jobs as a hitman, no questions asked.
- Before getting cursed, Pyria went by the name her parents gave her - Dusk/Duskette. She never liked it and felt her transformation was reason enough to change to a cooler name.
- She has set parts of their house on fire so many times that they just keep a fire extinguisher without any protective casing in every room.
- Pyria is very suspicious of everyone who has remotely any magical abilities since she doesn't know who cursed her.

[ husband ] He's her handsome blind MAN. She's 100% ready to protect him with her life and she's very loud about it. They're opposites in many ways but that never stopped them from being in love and there for each other. He's the kind and soft soul she needed in her life and he definitely helped her be a more kind person herself.
Kramer
[ son ] God she loves Kramer so much. So so much. He's her terrible chaos son and she loves him to the moon and back. Pyria is extremely keen on protecting him from everything remotely dangerous and tries to keep him inside as much as possible, which Kramer hates. He sometimes hides at Gwyn's place because he can't stand being mom'ed 24/7, especially since he grew up not being used to it. He keeps giving his mom heart attacks because of things like that.

Malik
[ son ] Gremlin child she loves v v much, even if he continues to steal & hide her stuff in his cardboard box.
Ophelia
[ adopted daughter ] Lovable adult daughter who she loves very much. They're rather close since they share their unfortunate fates of being cursed.
Dawn
[ twin ] They grew up being inseparable but the older they get, the more they butt heads. Dawn absolutely exploits the fact that Pyria can free her from any trouble with the Police, which Pyria hates. But she loves her twin sister too much to not help her out, so she just keeps grumbling around while Dawn continues to kick assholes in the face.
Prism
[ older sibling ] While both are very protective of their family, they're thinking of widely different concepts. Thus, they don't get along very well. Pyria has no interest in being associated with a gang and Prism heavily dislikes the idea of having a police officer in their rows who could rat them out any minute. They don't trust each other and yet they depend on the other not breaking their vow to live and let live. Their relationship is extremely important for everyone involved but also constantly on thin fucking ice.
Victor
[ older sibling ] Very Bad. Pyria has most definitely punched Victor unconscious before and let him wake up in a cell. He's scared of her and hates that a lot. She hates how he doesn't even have a morally grey reason for his criminal doings like their sister Prism. Victor is just out here scamming people and Pyria wants him to Stop. The only thing stopping her from outing his affiliation to The Family is her fragile connection to Prism.
