Yerew owns and tends to his bar, the Ice Cube, located in the city of Tyro.
Known for his relentless flirting, Yerew is a character that is usually well remembered. He cares very much about his job and will make sure that every customer is satisfied. Those who visit the Ice Cube will soon realize that Yerew flirts with anyone who's single and he highly enjoys it. Some frown upon this behaviour, but many realize how he always makes sure the person is single first and promptly apologizes if he upsets someone. Those who get close to him find that he is a very calm and caring person, if a little hasty and not one to think situations over to much before jumping in.
When Yerew was a child, he lived in a small town known as Red Water Falls, named after the oddly red water in nearby streams. A cold northern town, Yerew grew up liking the cold weather and snow until he was playing on a frozen river one day and the ice cracked. Nearly not making it out, he still does not like cold weather or snow. Upon growing up, he knew that he wanted to run the coolest bar ever. When he was 18, he moved out to Tyro to go to college for mixology. He graduated a year early at age 21 and he promptly bought a small building and made it into a bar. Over a decade, the bar started getting more and more popular and he moved it to a much larger building near Salt Park with an apartment on top that he lives in. This is where the Ice Cube is now located.
Dez is the guitarist for the band that most often plays at the Ice Cube. The two have feelings for each other, as is pointed out by Jerry to Dez. They occasionally go out.
Whilst Jerry and Yerew aren't all that close, they do converse quite often, especially about Dez. Jerry is also the drummer for the same band Dez is a part of.
