Recently cast out of the heavenly guard of angels for an inexcusable act, Kaleo resides in the first level of Hell known as Avernus, aka Limbo. This is a world full of "practically perfect" everything, where everything is just simply mediocre and full of minor inconveniences. A "false heaven" where angels and demons are being pulled between Heaven and Hell. As a previous guard of the heavens, he is insanely observant, protective, disciplined, and strong. He is relatively quiet and tolerant, though he has been known to have a short fuse at times. He retains heavenly abilities while stuck in Limbo, such as the ability to travel dimensionally, fly, and astral project. He is wickedly protective over his brother on Earth, Ethandros.

During his time on Earth, he was a member of the Navy Seals, deployed on and off into Afghanistan for a number of months. He was trained as a foot soldier as well as some specialization with firearms and other weapons. He was part of the NCDU, the Combat Demolition Unit. His main focus was as an EOD, an Explosives Ordanance Disposal Technician... part of the bomb squad. He wound up in a sticky situation on one of his tours that involved a hard decision and the cost of his own life. He doesn't talk about it. During his time spent in Heaven, he was assigned to be a member of the guard... faced with another hard decision he was cast down to the level of Limbo where he is now faced with choosing his own fate through decisions that he must make.
