[ Quiet, serious, cautious, mature, protective, a family man ]

Kai Kang has always been a quiet person, not because he was shy but because he had difficulty expressing himself. He was always known for being mature even during his childhood days. He always carries a serious expression and was never able to catch up with most jokes. He tends to be cautious of the people around him because of past events with people that were trying to take advantage of him. Despite it all, it didn't mean he wasn't a kind, lovable person nor was he incapable of loving. Deep down, he adores affection and loved being with his wife and kids.

History

As a kid, he was always faced with the uglier side of the world and had to learn to tell who was kind and who wasn't, what was true and what was false. The importance of money has been drilled deep into his core, so deep that at the age of 19 he was already a successful entrepreneur. He was a genuis when it came down to making money, but he felt hollow as he never learned how to express himself nor could he tell what he was capable of feeling. At the age of 20, his parents arranged Kai Kang and their good friend's daughter, Charlotte, for marriage. It was for the sake of blue blood, and they couldn't really imagine their son to find love in the first place. A year went by and there was one thing they were mutual about; their love is forced. Charlotte could only pretend and act, while Kai Kang on the other hand didn't even know what was so special about it. Both of them could only show "affection" because that's what couples do. Kai Kang thought that'd be it, that his hollow life has been decided and that was how it's going to be until the end. That was until Charlotte decided to introduce her friend, Francesca, to Kai Kang. She thought if Kai Kang could figure out how to express his feelings and desire affection, they would have a chance out of this. It only took a few months until Kai Kang started to be aware of his newfound yet confusing feelings. He started to be a bit more expressive and finally understood what affection, love and marriage truly meant. Finally, after a lot of encouraging and pushing from Charlotte, Kai Kang confessed his love for Francesca and fought to call off the arranged marriage. It succeeded ofcourse. Dating came to marriage, marriage came to honey moons and then came a huge happy family.
