PERSONALITY TRAITS

BACKSTORY 

When Serana was around 30 years old, a group of Alliance militia murdered her family, much to her horror and shock, her childhood friend Skoran Kent, was the one who lead the militia that killed her family. Because of this, she harbors a deep-seated hatred for the Alliance, especially the militia that killed her family. She keeps and wears the necklace that her old brother wore before his death, it is an eye made from blue crystals. After her family died, she was taken in by an elderly Night Elf defector. Her name was Farieth Darkstalker. She taught Serana Darnassian Elvish, and told her the stories from her youth, but never told Serana her reason for leaving the Alliance, nonetheless these stories are what inspired Serana to pursue the path of being an assassin. Eventually, Farieth passed away of old age, but Serana is forever greateful for the help she had been given by her. Before her passing, Farieth gave Serana two shortswords she named Sun and Moon. These shortswords are, along with the necklace, Serana's prized possessions. After some ins/outs of jail and a few captures by the Alliance, these captures which involved her being tortured and interrogated leaving her scarred mentally and physically, Serana found a rather odd child in the forest. Serana took the child in, and upon noticing her odd habit of eating soap, named her Soap.

Serana can be a little hot headed, and more than vengeful. She tries her best to believe there's good in everyone, but she's weary of anyone who is potentially tied to the Alliance. Due to her past, she takes a while to open up to others and to trust others. The slaughter of her family has left her with loads of survivor's guilt. She is a follower of the deity Elune, as she feels Elune was responsible for her meeting Farieth and setting her on the path she believes is her destiny.  

Serana's past makes it hard for her to trust the Alliance. Her lust for revenge can be her downfall, as if she murders the militia that killed her family, that could put her as a target. She also sometimes has delusions of grandeur and craves power. She also can be a little impulsive as she's basically the Blood-Elf equivalent of an 18-19 year old. She is also a kleptomaniac, she steals things for money, food, and also for Soap to play with. Although not a magic user necessarily, she tries to steal any magic items she can get her hands on, especially if she feels it will power her goal.
