Summary

Zathil has a cold, calculating personality accompanied by a deceiving charm and grace. He's notably intelligent and quick to figure things out, something that especially applies to social situations. This often plays out as slyness as he doesn't hesitate to manipulate others to his favor. Although generally egotistic, he's not mean-spirited and it's not rare that he does things, even if secretly, out of sympathy. Zathil is easily offended by crude and brainless behavior, but rarely respond to it beyond a disgusted glare or sharp remark.

At a young age, Zathil was captured and forced to work as a servant. Even though he was treated favorable considering the situation, his main purpose was to be put on display as something exotic to gawk at. This treatment gradually made Zathil full of spite and gave him a strong distaste for others. Eventually Zathil was set free out of good will and, with a lot of  effort, he worked his way into becoming a successful trader. His specialty is small-scale deals with items considered exclusive in his area, such as medication, ammunition and tobacco, but he also loans credit.

Zathil as good as always his bodyguard, Y'tura, nearby.  While she is very useful, Zathil mainly hired Y'tura out of compassion and kinship as the two share a somewhat similar past. Overtime the two has developed a jagged but tight friendship. Zathil has a taste for intellectual pastimes, including philosophy, reading and chess. He appreciates refined items, especially luxurious tea and vine.
 
Y'tura is Zathils bodyguard, although the two has developed a deep companionship and are rarely seen apart.
Borzuka and Zathil bickers a lot, they're both dominant personalities with clashing ideas.
