Orrin is Khyir's familiar; he bickers with the man as if they were brothers, despite not speaking English. He has infinitely more self preservation than his wizard, and does his best to keep Khyir out of trouble. Those who know him well joke that the few white hairs on his muzzle are courtesy of the stress his wizard causes him, much to Khyir's chagrin.

• Khyir can use his magic to make Orrin smaller and more cat-like as a disguise.
• The bear's anxiety has caused a worry ulcer on his back right leg in the past; hence his leg wrap.
• The beads on the wrap were gifted by a friend of Khyir's, meant to promote tranquility.
• Orrin's neck fur is particularly thick- your hand can get lost in it!
• He really, really loves fruit!
