Crème is the sweet french girl in middle school who's close friends with Lily and Mary. She lived in Eymet, France til she was about six, but then she moved to the states because of her parent's jobs. Crème became a little recluse when she had to leave her small town and friends, but this didn't last long as she met new people at her school. At the time, she was mad for having to redo kindergarten, but after meeting Lily, she's very happy to have been held back with her.
On her first day, Crème instantly ran up to Lily and asked to play with her and braid her hair and such. This was a shock to Lily, but she begrudgingly agreed and ever since their friendship has continued to grow and grow. With Lily slowly opening up to Crème. Now she can't imagine waking up and not being able to hang out with her and Mary.
At home, Crème mostly talks in french and lives with her mother who is less familiar with English, but Crème helps her a lot. Crème absolutely loves her mom and spending time with her, but her relationship with her dad is shakier. After her parents separated and her mother got full-custody, and her dad moved out. She stays over with him every other weekend and holiday. Crème loves her dad, but he doesn't know her as well because he works a lot and spends little time with her. Sometimes he cancels on her for work (he's a workaholic.) He's also sexist and controlling, and Crème is very lenient with him.
Because she lives in America, most kids couldn't pronounce her name, so she lets people call her Cream instead of Crème (phonetically krem) This doesn't bother her. She thinks it's cute when people try to pronounce her name.

Creme and Lily have been friends since kindergarten. While Lily didn't talk much back then, Crème was insistent on being her friend and talking to her. And after a while of being annoyed at Crème for hanging around her so much, Lily ended up yelling at her. But soon regretted it after a few weeks because she couldn't stand the loneliness and for hurting Creme. Now Lily is inseparable from Crème who keeps her company and protects her from bullies at school. They are also both in a group a friend group with Mary.
Mary was the new kid in class at the start of middle school, and being from England, a lot of people tried to befriend her because they thought it was cool. All the attention just annoyed her. Crème met Mary through Lily because the two were gym classmates. After a few weeks when Lily and Mary were friends, Lily invited Mary to sit with them to get away from people crowding her. Crème was so happy when she met another European other than herself, and the two like to laugh about "them Amuricans."
