Day Dreamer is a bison that lives in the bison nation called Tall Trees. He’s a hobbyist digital artist that occasionally volunteers as a cook for the feasts in their community. They also have aspirations to learn beadwork and make their own jewelry, as well as getting better at sewing to make embroidery, clothes, and other crafts.

Day is very quiet, anxious, and socially awkward, she doesn’t socialize very much, let alone speak and have conversations often, instead Day mostly spends a lot of her time alone usually thinking to herself. He just hasn’t been great at expressing himself since he was a calf, friends have been hard to make throughout most of their life, they struggled at learning how to make proper connections with anyone and instead formed this extra awareness of their behaviour in front of others, all resulting in his anxiety and distancing of socializing from the stress.

There was a difficult point in time for Day when she was a teenager, she was very depressed and stressed, the idea of getting out of the house felt too hard for them to do so they made the choice to not bother anymore, Day started to self-isolate, and entered this self-deprecating cycle that would affect them for the next couple of years. He was rarely outside of his room for a few minutes, they had not been outside of the house in months, and they would barely talk to his family members he went weeks without having spoken a word.

Day’s voice had become very weak since she barely has a reason to talk aloud anymore, but it also affected his speech a bit as well. He struggles to talk in full sentences, some words would be difficult to pronounce properly sometimes, and his speaking would get so jumbled it made them feel like he sounded like a child, and it was embarrassing. It didn’t help with making Day try talking more, he knows it’s just his voice but he’s afraid of what others might think of him by the way he sounds.
