Mstsislaŭ Sapieha

Mstsislaŭ is the mistrusted town witch of a tiny village in 18th century Eastern Europe, and he makes his living by performing small bits of magic, brewing potions, and providing the ever important ye olde herbal "male enhancement supplements" for anyone brave enough to venture to his home. He lives on the edge of town, almost in the woods, with a cat to keep him company. Mstsislaŭ used to be rather popular and well liked, but after coming out, he doesn't have many friends left. Dimitry is one of the few - they've been friends since childhood, despite his family's displeasure - and he's the one that Mstsislaŭ is closest with.
Recently, he's taken up tracking down and getting ride of supernatural monsters with the Baroness's hunter, Radek. Their partnership got off to a rocky start, but Radek is slowly growing on him. As they get thrown together on more monster hunts, Mstsislaŭ learns just how fucking stupid Radek can be, and also that there's way more magic and weird things in the world than either of them initially realized...

Shimmering Shaft
A very polished dagger, made by Dimitry, for hunting a shadow monster. Mstsislaŭ held onto it after the monster's defeat because it's a very well made weapon (and it's shiny!).
Iron Cuff
A simple cuff bracelet with some rough textures and patterns on it, made by Dimitry shortly after he started his apprecenticeship. Mstsislaŭ is rarely seen without it.

- his ears are pierced, it's just usually hidden by his hair
- he has freckles across his nose and cheeks
- there are black spectral hand marks around his right ankle (but since he's always wearing pants + boots, they're rarely seen)

Dimitry Navumčyk
[ childhood friend ]
An apprentice blacksmith and Mstsislaŭ's best friend since childhood. He is secretly in love with Dimitry, but only jokingly flirts with him the same way he does with just about everyone, fearful of ruining their friendship by seriously pursuiing him. Mstsislaŭ also knows that Dimitry is destined for a much more respectable life that doesn't include running off with the crazy witch in the woods.
Radek Žák
[ fellow monster hunter ]
Known around town for being the dead-eyed marksman employed by the Baroness as her hunter, Mstsislaŭ is Radek's newest friend. As Mstsislaŭ has gotten to know him better, he's realized that Radek isn't as terrifying as people think, just absolutely terrible at social situations. He's also an incredibly loyal friend with his own brand of humor- though he can be fucking stupid while hunting monsters.
Vit
[ radek's other friend ]
Mstsislaŭ previously only knew him as the almost always drunk town doctor, but now that he's friends with Radek, he's sorta required to spend some time with Vit as well. Mstsislaŭ thinks it's really funny that Vit firmly believes that magic and other such supernatural shit is completely fake, despite the fact that his best friend now hunts monsters.
