Sci-fi era bootlegger and smuggler. If you need anything moved, he'll do it for the right price. For particularly hard jobs, he's known to stuff small valuable things in his prosthetic to hide them. Dabbles in selling and trading drugs as well, on the side. 

When he's not doing business he's lounging in one of those Jabba the Hutt style grungy sci fi bar/hangouts. He's not the boss, but he likes to pretend he is which is all good and fine by the owner who has him comfortably under his thumb to do important jobs when needed.

Connections 

Clients, colleagues, enemies/connections from deals gone sour, "I owe you a favor" or vice versa type connections, etc. Probably doesn't have a lot of friends. Please don't let your characters stoop low enough to date this stunted manchild 😂
