This profile is mostly JoJo's; Star is more of a morality pet side character. She has been added here because she is getting art.

Lawful Neutral, half-drow, monk/sorcerer gestalt
Silver were-dragon, now awakened
ash-gray skin decorated with scars, silvery hair usually pulled into a braid long enough to sit on, red eyes, pierced ears
typically seen with a dark trenchcoat over Chinese-styled garb and steel-toed boots (monk's gear from games like Final Fantasy is acceptable too)

The bastard son of a powerful drow matriarch - and an escapee from her court. He spent most of his life abused and treated as a possession, finally bolting once he reached adulthood. He escaped to Deepwell, a refugee city, and hung out for a few years, before attempting to set up home in Haddashan. Targeted racism prevented him from getting anywhere near the Temple, so he was forced to keep his distance until he, beyond all odds, proved himself a hero.

He has unofficially adopted a young tiefling as his daughter. At the time of her intro to the party she is around 5 years old, and she does not understand Common, with their (her and JoJo) only shared language being Draconic. JoJo knows nothing about her, not even her real name, and has just taken to calling her Star for a star-shaped burn on her neck. She has yet to object. He found Star sealed in a barrel and starving to death as a toddler, pitied her, and took her in. With both JoJo and Shy (JoJo's eventual boyfriend) training her, she is taking on skills of both Monk and Wizard and learning more languages. Post-timeskip she is around 12-13 years old and is currently half JoJo's level.

No one finds out his full name before hitting A Rank Support with him. Generally he is suspicious of everybody he meets, maybe even slightly paranoid, and he comes across as stoic and intimidating. If he even THINKS you're threatening Star, he will straight up murder you. One of two people to know his full name is Shylan "Shy" McKell, a wizard of the Temple of Haddashan. (Star, obviously, is the other one.) In the original campaign, Star took to Shy immediately, which led to friendship between the two men, and then... love. For the longest time JoJo never bothered with romance, genuinely believing that it was never an option for him due to the way he looked. (Clearly, Star has wingman proficiency lol)

JoJo is a ridiculous neat-freak - he keeps his living space impeccably clean, which is very weird. He is also incredibly vain when it comes to his hair - the only non-necessity he keeps for himself is a basket of hair care products, consisting of various airplane sample-sized bottles of oils and a very ornate hand mirror and hairbrush, both ebony-handled and embedded with jewels surrounding a spider insignia. Long hair is a status symbol that only full-drow noblewoman are allowed to possess; the fact that JoJo grew his hair out that long is a HUGE affront to the culture he left and a GIANT "fuck you" to his former matriarch. He keeps it braided all the time to keep it out of the way when he's fighting. If he ever had to go to some formal occasion (not likely, but still) he would tie it back in some complicated Daenerys Targaryen style. He is totally capable of braiding his hair on his own without help.

Trivia:
*Nobody, not even himself, is sure of his actual age or birthdate. Time and the following of the sun has no meaning in the underground, so nobody bothered keeping track. A human might guess 35 to 40, but if you ask him you won't get a meaningful response - just a shrug and a "Sure, okay". His silver-white hair probably adds a couple years. (Out of character: he's more than double what he looks, being granted immortality from his weredragon abilities.)
*He tends to be uncomfortable around adult women - given his only real experience has been with psychotic drow noblewomen who made his existence hell it's justifiable to a degree. This does not prevent him from working with female party members, and he does his best to try to be civil regardless, but good luck getting him to relax and open up. Star does not trigger this fear, being a child who barely comes up to his waist (chest after timeskip).
*He is not a native speaker of Common, speaking with a strong accent. He is able to read Common with some difficulty; it takes him more time, but he can eventually understand it. He is most comfortable in Undercommon and able to speak and understand Draconic.
*Though he has trained to be ambidextrous, he defaults to using his left hand when he writes something. Star does not share this ambidexterity and uses her right.
*He prefers tea over coffee - spiced herbal blends are his drink of choice, with a cinnamon chai blend as his favorite. He does not add anything to it.
*His entire body is absolutely riddled with scars - if you saw it you would wonder how in the hell he is still alive. On his back, underneath where the braid would fall, is a pitch-black spider tattoo. (I say tattoo, but it's really more of a brand. Everything his matriarch owned is marked with a black spider.)
*He had no name until long after he escaped the Deepdark, eventually earning one from the sensei who trained him once he was free. However, it's just easier to go by JoJo most of the time.
