Don't be fooled by her quiet and shy exterior, underneath it lies much much more.
Xena's always been the type to be quiet and courteous when she's not familiar with someone, but once she feels she can open up she's got a super dorky personality. She can be loud and obnoxious or just do whatever she can to make a friend laugh. She will never let it go unknown how much she appreciates and loves the friends she surrounds herself with. On her good days she will very much go with the flow and is happy to simply be in the presence of good company.

Depending on the day Xena can go from the most friendly and spirited canine you've ever met, to being extremely short with others. She struggles with internalizing her anxieties and some days it can be too much and she may end up snapping. These sudden mood changes can last from hours up to days and have even been cause of driving friends away. Because of this she's learned become self reliant and independant for the most part. However, in recent years she's learned to communicate more effectively in order to let others know what's happening and why she's gone quiet.She's extremely appreciative of those who stick with her through it all, and would do anything for them.
Origins

Xena and her brother, Astral, are celestial beings deemed Canis Astralis. They originate from the Styx Theta cluster in the Milky Way galaxy where they grew up. Once they were old enough and had been through training, they were sent to Earth to act as guardians of a dimentional rift hidden deep in the polar north that was at risk of tearing open and endangering the planet, and eventually the local solar system. They were responsible for eliminating threats to the integrity of the rift. These threats included extreme weather events, local fauna, or even human settlers. 3 Years had gone by with little activity at all. Only minor avalanches or storms that Astral contained, and a rare leak from the rift that Xena was able to patch quickly. However, one night the rift had opened just enough to let one beast escape under their noses before sealing itself back shut. The being called itself Alaroth. It was a dark shadowy creature that closely resembled a bear at its core.
