Moony is a young alicorn from Ponyville, but she wasn't always an alicorn. She was a pegasus once, but an accident caused her to become an alicorn. Despite this, she's not a princess nor do her powers compare to the princesses' powers. She always wears her signature headband and heart necklace (which are both charged with magic, allowing them to change colors depending on her mood). Whenever she's really angry, her eyes change, and she has access to her fire magic (which she gained when she turned into an alicorn). She likes sewing, drawing, and dancing (which is how she got her cutie mark), as well as her friends, reading, gaming, and sweets. She has what is called a dark side named Dreamstrike, an evil spirit living inside of her that can occasionally take control.But most of the time she is able to control Dreamstrike, and keep her away. She cares a lot about Splash Flicker, and considers her the little sister she never had.
