Rain used to be a Pet and Protector of a very wealthy family. One day a Fire broke out in the house. Quickly he ran into the room of the Child, since that was what he was trained for. To protect the most precious member of the Family. Sadly there was not enough time, once he got outside of the complex with the boy, it collapsed, burying the Parents.

At the Time, the boy was 2 years old. Homeless and Lost, Rain wandered around, Protecting what was left with his life. A few months later, they found shelter in the desert, which turned out to be the home of another Grem called Lotus.
