Wind spirit trapped on Earth for eternity as a punishment for a crime he didn't commit.  Completely isolated from the world, he tends to keep away from humans and their filth. He grows weaker by the millennia due to the disappearing nature and pollution, since he's basically connected with the Earth now. He's heavily cursed and before meeting Enka, humans could not hear, see, or speak with him. Every few centuries, the curse blesses him with someone who can acknowledge him and they grow close, but in the end they always end up forgetting him over an extended period. It is his punishment's form of torture. 

His time on Earth was filled with calculated misconceptions, people walking right through him as he stood there, pleading for anyone to speak to him. He had seen humans fall in love, find friends, have a family. Eiji had been forced to watch while being isolated from it all. "People cannot lust for me. People may see me, but they forget me as quickly as they register me. They cannot touch me. No human can touch me. Nobody can."
