Silvia Marina Jane (SH24)

Silvia was born in a shallow pool in a low cove, Her mother Delta Jane was a Sea Nymph Siren and her father was a Deep Chocolate coloured stallion, named Golden Rain. Delta had grown favoursome of him during her time on land for he reminded her of the sea, He had markings resembling raindrops running down from his back and he had these glowing blue eyes, that resembled the blue bioluminescent sea plankton that rippled through the sea. She got lost in them. She became pregnant to him not long after. Silvia was a brave little thing from the moment her hooves hit the sand. She fanned out her ear fins and stomped at a crab, insisting on protecting her mother behind her. She would spend most of her days darting in and out of the sea, making large loops from the grass ridge over the sand and into the waves, she would also play hop the wave with whoever she could. Her mother wouldn't allow her out into the open sea without her though. As the days went by she began to spend time submerged in the ocean and she began to have less of a liking for humans and what they did to the oceans she was beginning to love.

Now as an adult Siliva spends a lot of time out in the ocean. She knows all the best places to find her favourite species of Ulva (a type of seaweed) She also knows the locations of breeding spots, and their corresponding events. She would watch over hatching catsharks and would even stand on the shores during turtle hatching season, to ensure at least a few make it to the ocean. She often finds human items in the sea; nets, bottles and other disposables. It makes her angry to see them encroaching on her cove. But she does her best to keep the ecosystem going and it's a frequent spot for not only sea turtles but a few species of small porpoise.Although she spends most of her time in the ocean, she makes sure to set aside time for her father. It always upset her a little that he couldn't follow her into the sea, and must stay behind on land. She spent a lot of time explaining the beautiful aspects of the sea to him, to make him smile. She enjoys her time on land because of him and she loves him very dearly. Her mother would occasionally visit her and her father but was commonly out at sea. Silvia's attachment to her father kept her from being too interested in anything far away from him, so she didn't pay much attention. But was starting to grow curious.
