Altair (Ref NH93)

Altair was born into this world without a mother or a father. It was as if Luna herself had made him. He doesn't know who named him but that it was there from the beginning. He was born in a secluded, crater-like grove. He woke up next to a large rock and it's where he slept every night. The grove wasn't very wide, not enough to have a run-up to fly as a foal, his purply blue wings weren't strong enough to do a standing take-off. He had to wait till he was about 6 months old before he was able to make the vertical leap up, to clear the grove and fly out. Suddenly he was out in the open and was overwhelmed by the feeling of vulnerability but also the exhilaration of flying and being completely free! Over the years he spent most of his time flying, he was a very secluded stallion as he never needed to be social. He would observe others from the sky and would only land to help them if needed. He loved flying over open oceans or lakes and just skimming over the water. He also was cheeky for eating, he would eat anything he could grab on the wing - apples and fruits out of trees, berries off bushes, tall grass on high ridges. He would only land and eat blueberries, as they reminded him of the ones that grew in the grove. As he got older he grew less tentative of the ground and would land for longer periods of time.
