Human who wants to reach immortality but without beeing "undead",  addicted to alchemic substances or from a deal of a higher second

he is working in a library - loves old books and can read many (also extinct and okkult) languages

studies the manuscripts of Dante in search for a spell or anything that could help reach his goal

finds hints of a creature which is immortal and manages to cast magic different from flux and tries to find it

eventually succeeds and gets in touch with Jarghul who kindly "teaches" him stuff (he probably told him a lot of bullshit  just for the lolz) → gifts him a feather from him infused with traces of  his magic

→ jarghul will watch him, curious what will happen to ignatius and the things he'll do with his new magic

ignatius starts experiments with flux and other magic → drifts into necromancy

accidently creates many many undead things which are set free

also  creates a skeleton named "Fred" which has an own mind (normaly  skeletons are only servants and will simply fall appart if the flux  fades...not Fred)

Fred is very annoying but stays as a servant - Ignatius just cant get rid of him

Jarghul is having a lot of fun

-  raised in a wealthy family (father banker, mother runs a small shop) -  has an older brother → also banker, lives in london, married with  children

- parents wanted him to step in fathers footsteps but he  refuses beeing more interested in books than money → became librarian  instead

- family not happy about it and mocks him

- not  interested in an own family (women are costy and loud - he doesn't like  loud noises) - lives in a small shabby appartment right under the roof -  it's wet and cold and the roof is leaking

- got in touch with  okkult stuff in the library archives - spents a lot of time there  (second home) - tries to learn flux bending himself - not very  successfull (small tricks work more or less) 

- is fascinated by the idea of beeing immortal - searches for a way
