Montgomery, or Monty, as friends and family affectionately call him, is a hardworking, intelligent, and passionate archaeologist. He also shares Beau's love for astrology and believes there has always been a deep connection between humans, dainties, and all species alike and their fascination with the stars. His goal is to find a bridge between history and the skies, and is especially interested in Egyptian and Mayan history because of this. He is specifically an Egyptologist, but does love to delve into other historical civilizations as well. Monty absolutely adores plants and shares a collection of cacti and papyrus species with Beau in their greenhouse. He is a kind and patient individual, but once you get him into talking about his passions (mention the goddess Nut once and you will never hear the end of it), he has a knack of continuously talking for hours in excitement. Of course, he is also very willing to hear and learn about other peoples' interests, as his thirst for knowledge is infinite.

Monty is in a long-term and very loving relationship with Beau. The two have known one another since childhood and are inseperable. He is very protective of Beau and is especially sensitive to the fact that Beau is so passive and softspoken, making him an easy target for bullies and people who like to talk over him. Monty absolutely adores listening to Beau's stories, and the two often just sit together, stargazing and just talking, late into the night.

Recently Monty has been on edge, due to the unexpected arrival of his older brother in their home town, and not even on a holiday! He is wary of Marko's sudden attempts at reconciliation and trying to get them to do "good brotherly things" and "bond".
