Elevator Pitch: Being the daughter of Krampus has its ups and downs. Magic? Cool. Freedom to do whatever you want? Also cool. Messing with mortals? Probably the best part. Having a distant and cold father? Not so cool. Having most of the other demons fear her because of him but also look down on her for being half-human? Crappy. Constantly having to deal with her father’s ravings about the Mystics, especially Santa? Sucks. Her father wasn’t always angry and disconnected, Brynn has memories of him being gentle and playing with her when she was young, but after her mother passed away he changed. Krampus blamed the Mystics for not saving his wife and was swallowed by anger. His flames calmed with time, but he is still a shadow of who he once was: a confident trickster who loved his job and family. His employees now do most of his work while he holes up in his office. Brynn rarely sees him and tries to play everything off as cool and like nothing bothers her. She was surprised one day when her father invited her on a business trip… to visit the Klaus estate. The gala element was kind of lame and Brynn could barely get a peep out of her father the whole time, so she ditched it and went to explore the garden. There she met Abby. Amused by the girl’s eagerness and naivety, Brynn took an interest in exposing Abby to life outside the Mystic realm and throughout their adventures, they fell in love. Like every good love story, something comes up that forces them apart and it’s up to them to figure out how to be together. Their story is a classic love story set up, but sometimes you just need to write a stereotypical story because it’s fun.
