When first signing up for this academy, he agreed to have the memories of his past when he was alive, completely wiped from his memory. In doing this, the academy believes their past experiences won't interfere with their work as a guardian angel in the future. In this academy, angels are re-taught everything about humans; for the most part. Sugar-coating alot of the harsh things that takes place in the world. By doing so, it leaves Noah somewhat blind to alot of the more 'dark' or 'mature' things that take place. Although he seems to have no recollection of his past, he often has night-terrors which affect his sleep and cause him to often be drowsy the next morning.
